AIS Standards
AIS, or Automotive Industry Standards, represent the technical standards for the automotive sector in India, aligned with UNECE guidelines. Introduced in 1989, AIS Certification is part of the India Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR). These rules govern various aspects related to vehicles, including traffic regulations, production, and maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety across the automotive industry in India.
