Entities eligible for a State FSSAI License include:
Dairy Units: Processing between 500 to 50,000 liters of milk daily or less than 2,500 MT of milk annually.
Vegetable Oil Units: Engaged in processing or producing vegetable oil with a capacity of up to 2 MT daily.
Slaughtering Units: With capacities exceeding 2 but up to 50 large animals, over 10 but up to 150 small animals, or more than 50 but up to 1,000 poultry birds per day.
Meat Processing Units: Processing up to 500 Kg daily or 150 MT annually. Wholesale Food Processing Units: With a turnover up to INR 30 Crores.
Retail or Distribution Food Businesses: With a turnover up to INR 20 Crores.
Restaurants: With a turnover of up to INR 20 Crores.
Hotels: With a turnover of up to INR 20 Crores.
Processing Plants: Including re-labellers, re-packers, and production units with a capacity of up to 2 MT per day.
