OVERVIEW
The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has released a Quality Control Order titled the AUS 32 Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent (Quality Control) Order, 2024.
This order will take effect 180 days after being published in the Official Gazette.
It applies to goods or articles related to Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32, except those intended for export.
These goods must comply with Indian Standard IS 17042 (Part-1): 2018 and display the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards, as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the regulations for Conformity Assessment by the Bureau of Indian Standards, established in 2018.
The Bureau of Indian Standards is appointed as the certifying and regulatory authority for products associated with Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32.
