This new Order replaces the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2020, and takes effect from its publication in the Official Gazette, excluding actions carried out before this supersession.
Under this Order, which applies to steel and steel products, the specifications for Non-Magnetic Stainless Steels for Electrical Applications: Part 3 (Specific Requirements for Sheets, Strips, and Plates) are included. Additionally, goods and articles that meet the specified standards must display the Standard Mark. This mark should be obtained under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards, following Scheme I of Schedule II in the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
